However, on the whole, I think the market has provided enough choices so that I should not be that hard to find an interesting job. 2. What kinds of preparation should people do for a job interview? Firstly, to get e nough understanding of the position that you are going to apply is important because the employer ii searching the one who is the most suitable and professional about the position. Then, people should practice making a brie self - introduction so that the em ployer can quickly have the basic information about you and your ability of oral expression Another thing that I think one should prepare is the dressing. For girls, maybe they also should be aware of wearing appropriate make - ups depending on the position that they apply. 3. What should a good employer do? In my opinion, I think a good employer firstly should trust the employees and give the employees enough opportunities to give their talent into full play and train the employees to become better and better. Also, a good employer should no consider himself or herself to be superior to the employees. Secondly, a good employer should care about the safety of the employees during work. There is a lot of news about the employees getting hurt because of work and I think it ii, also the employer’s responsibility to give the employees a safe environment to work, especially for some special kind of work. I think that’s tough to say, but all in all I would guess that people today read less than people in the past did. Take someone like my mom for example. In the past, she was a very avid reader, and would finish at least a few books every week. These days, she still reads occasionally, but with all of the great TV shows available to st ream instantly, she actually spends a lot more time watching TV. So, I think people today read less because of the wide availability of other sources of entertainment, like TV. 2. Do you read before going to bed? If I do read, it’s usually when I’m trying to pass the time, like on the train or in the car. I rarely P a g e | 3 read at home, because I actually spend quite a bit of time on my computer or watching TV. If I do read before bed, I get sleepy. I usually end up falling asleep with the book on my face, which is not a pleasant surprise when I wake up, and later have to reread the page again because I was too tired the first time. That’s why I don’t read much before going to bed. 3. In your opinion, how will e - books affect paper books? I think the rising popularity of e - books has already begun to affect paper books in some ways. One way is in book sales, which has dropped steadily
