Now Duck's truck was stuck in the muck! "Yuck!" said Duck, stepping into the muck. "What bad luck!" Duck tried to push her truck out of the muck. But the truck stayed stuck. 3)t Duck saw Porcupine walking along the side of the road. "Porcupine, will you help me push my truck out of the muck?" asked Duck. "I'd be happy to," said Porcupine. Duck and Porcupine pushed and pushed. But the truck stayed stuck. Just then, Woodchuck came riding along on her scooter. "Looks like you could use some help," said Woodchuck. Duck, Porcupine, and Woodchuck pushed as hard as they could. But that truck stayed stuck. 1(6 Before long, Moose came strolling by. He offered to help, too. Then Duck, Porcupine, Woodchuck, and Moose pushed with all their might. But the truck stayed stuck. 7)1'- Suddenly, a small voice said, "I can help you get the truck out of the muck." It was little Chickadee. The other animals looked at Chickadee and laughed. t I r "Chickadee, you're so small," said Duck. "How could you help move this big truck?" r I . i J. r-,J But Chickadee was sure he could help. In a tiny voice, he began to sing, "Chick-a-dee-dee-dee. " Chickadee's song was so cheerful that the sun came out from behind a cloud to hear it. 1(10 The sun's bright rays dried up all the mud and muck. Finally, Duck's truck came unstuck! "Hooray for Chickadee!" the animals cheered. "What good luck that you came along!" 11)1"' Duck thanked all the animals for helping her free her truck from the muck.
